Dad and AJs visit!!!

I woke up on Thursday morning as excited as I used to be for Christmas because my bro and Dad were coming to Dubai! Fresh from their amazing hike up Kilimanjaro they took about 1 minute to sit down in a chair lower than a bar stool. I also didnt have to run to keep up to my Dad's walking speed. AJ and my Dad ate no fewer than 6 burgers and 3 pizzas. They loved the shake shack at MOE. They were also impressed by the Burj Khalifa, the Burj al Arab, and the astro turf at our school (?). AJ made some excellent purchases at the souqs. He taught us a few things about bartering. He als enjoyed ski Dubai with Brandon and came to a very fun beach club with some of our friends. And then as quick as they arrived, they left again.

Valentine's Date!

Last night Brandon took me on an awesome Valentine's date. It was actually a combo celebratory dinner for his confirmed lack of shellfish allergy!!! We enjoyed Benihanas sufficiently cheesy menu and decor. The set menu was full of delicious variety and we got some pink champagne with it. To top it all off, I got the final rose!!

The long weekend!

We had an extra day for Prophet Mohammad's birthday (peace be upon him). It was so nice to have an extra day! We enjoyed an amazing brunch (all you can consume) for Jeff's birthday (PBUH). The brunch had a ROOM of chocolate. Yum!!!
We also enjoyed a picnic in Safa park complete with a Settler's game. My fave! I borrowed one of my Gma's trick and brought a moist cloth in a plastic bag. I continued the Grandma inspired day by attempting to make my own soup broth. The chicken one didn't turn out as well as the veggie, but we had chicken noodle soup for dinner and it turned out pretty yummy!
